Kwok-Keung Chow arrived in Blackpool in the 70's, working in other kitchens learning the trade and working on his recipes. Soon after his wife, and children George, Alan and Sue joined him in the country. And in 1975, the Paramount opened as one of the first Chinese take-aways in Blackpool.

With the whole family pitching in, business boomed and shortly after we expanded to become a restaurant.

36 years later Alan is still cooking up Kwok's recipes, following the well proved formula of using fresh, quality ingredients with a generous helping of warm and welcoming service! Thesedays, 3 generations of Chows' work together to keep the Paramount the talk of the Fylde coast.
It's thanks to our loyal customers that we are what we are today, and we thank them for their friendship and custom over the many years.
